Multifunctional epoxy nanocomposites containing carbon quantum dots
Università degli Studi di Napoli – Politecnico di Torino
Multiple applications in the industrial sector require the use of plastic materials with a particular shape and geometry. In this context, the possibility of re-adapting the shape of thermosetting polymers (such as epoxy resins) to reuse them at the end of their life in new applications is practically nil, due to their permanent three-dimensional network making them unworkable with traditional manufacturing techniques used for thermoplastic products[1].
